Black and white sound simple until you actually try to paint them well and that’s exactly what this focused set is built for. Vallejo gathers a range of blacks, whites and the greys in between so you can nail smooth shading, crisp highlights and convincing greyscale on everything from vehicles to figures. It’s also the perfect foundation for anyone learning to build tone before adding colour.

Best for

• Smooth shading and highlighting
• Greyscale and pre-shading before glazing colour over the top
• Vehicles, figures and monochrome schemes

Master your values with these and every colour you add afterwards will look richer for it.

The tonal backbone of any paint job. Pairs perfectly with the wider Model Color range and a set of glaze mediums.
