Mahogani is a rich red-brown from AK Interactive’s The Inks range an intense, transparent, water-based acrylic ink built for glazing warm wood tones and deep shadow rather than flat colour. It’s a natural fit for anything that needs believable timber or a warm undertone in its shading.

Best for

• Glazing wooden furniture, rifle stocks and beams
• Shading leather, fur and warm-toned cloth
• Tinting a base colour to add depth and warmth

Applied thin and built up in layers, it deepens gradually rather than flooding the model in one hit exactly what you want for realistic wood grain and shadow.

Comes in a 30ml dropper bottle for brush or airbrush. It’s a handy companion to any diorama-making project that needs convincing timber.
