Smoke is a translucent, smoky brown-black glaze that’s one of the quiet heroes of the range for tinting shadows, dirtying up surfaces, deepening metallics and adding grime without hiding the detail underneath. It shades rather than covers.

Best for

• Tinting shadows and recesses
• Grime, soot and exhaust staining
• Deepening and toning down metallics

Glaze it over bright steel to instantly knock back the shine into used, oily metal, or pool it into recesses for smoky, believable shadow.

A translucent workhorse for shading and grime. Pair it with your metallics and the wider Vallejo Model Color range.
