Blue RLM 78 is the pale Luftwaffe underside blue, pre-thinned for the airbrush. If you’re building WW2 German aircraft, this is the accurate light-blue lower-surface tone that pairs with the RLM greens up top.

Best for

• Luftwaffe aircraft undersides
• Pale sky-blue tones
• Smooth, even lower-surface coats

Sprayed across the undersides, it nails the RLM scheme without a hint of mixing guesswork.

The correct blue for Luftwaffe undersides. Pair with the RLM upper greens and a gloss coat before decals.
