Created by us at Steamforged in partnership with the roleplaying legends over at Kobold Press, this set starts from the absolute basics (like how to talk at the table) all the way through your first session and beyond.

Steamforged understands not everyone has an experienced friend to guide them through roleplaying. So, they created the Tales of the Valiant Starter Set to be that friend. Whether youre a novice Game Master or new player, no one in your group needs experience to run this set.

Got a little roleplaying experience? Youre in luck, too. Tales of the Valiant (ToV) uses something called the Black Flag Roleplaying system, which is fully compatible with Fifth Edition Dungeons & Dragons (5E). So, if youve played 5E D&D, youll feel right at home.

And if youre already a fan of Tales of the Valiant, youll love the readymade adventures and four highly-detailed player character miniatures, representing three of the original Valiant heroes plus a brand new character created especially for the Starter Set!

Ready to start the greatest adventure of your lives? Inside this set youll find a world of excitement, danger, and heroism. Get ready to become a legend!
