Revell – Model kits often hide their most fascinating technology under a tightly glued cover. However, especially with the early jets, one would like to understand what made the revolutionary drive possible. In many models, this insight is denied or requires expensive accessories. We are changing that with the Gloster Meteor F.8 in an impressive 1:32 scale. Here you have the opportunity not only to build the heart of the machine – the engines – but also to present it separately next to the aircraft. This set is the answer for everyone who is looking for pure model building without unnecessary bells and whistles and wants to concentrate fully on the sculptural elaboration of technical details.

This is what awaits you with this professional project
Technology you can touch: Two highly detailed engines are included, which you can either install in the fuselage or display on a display stand next to it.
Imposing dimensions: With a length of 42.5 cm and a wingspan of over 35 cm, this model is a dominant display piece in any collection.
Pure challenge: With 400 individual parts and level 5, this kit is aimed at experienced model builders who can master complex structures.
Diverse markings: The decal sheet allows you to display three historical versions: RAF (Great Britain), RAAF (Australia) and TTF BAF (Belgium).
Living cockpit: A detailed pilot figure is included and brings the jet workplace to life.
Focus on the essentials: As a standard version, this kit focuses on high quality plastic parts and excellent fit.
The F.8 is considered to be the most elegant and mature version of the Meteor family. When building this model you will literally feel the evolution from propeller plane to jet. The lines are classic, but the nacelles on the wings reveal the new power. Since this is a “conversion” based on new tool shapes, you can rely on contemporary detailing.

You have full creative freedom in this project. Use the open engine display option to create a maintenance diorama, or build the Meteor ready for takeoff with the pilot in the cockpit. The included markings for the Australian 77th Squadron also offer the exciting option of depicting a machine from the Korean War – a very historically interesting scenario for your shelf.
