Gung-ho Green is the no-nonsense military green that does the heavy lifting on modern uniforms, webbing and vehicle hulls bright enough to read clearly on the table, muted enough to still look like kit rather than a toy. It’s the Midtone in Duncan Rhodes’ Two Thin Coats system, the colour that goes down first and sets the tone for everything else in the trio.

Best for

• Modern and historical military uniforms and webbing
• Vehicle hulls, crates and field equipment

It covers evenly in two thin coats straight from the bottle, giving you a solid, consistent base to shade and highlight without patchy coverage fighting you along the way.

Built to work as a trio. Find its matching Shadow and Highlight in the same colour family within the Two Thin Coats range, plus a good brush for crisp edges on kit and webbing.
