Druid Flesh sits somewhere between “weathered outdoorsman” and “something that lives in the woods and isn’t entirely human” an earthy, green-tinged flesh tone that’s as much at home on beastmen and wildlings as it is on a grizzled ranger who’s spent too long off the beaten track. As the Shadow in Duncan Rhodes’ Two Thin Coats system, it’s built for the recesses of exposed skin, ready for a warmer Midtone to be built up over the top.

Best for

• Beastmen, wildlings and feral or otherworldly skin
• Weathered, sun-worn flesh on rangers and outriders

The earthy undertone stops skin looking flat or plasticky, giving even a quick tabletop paint job a bit of natural, lived-in depth in the shadows.

Pairs with a proper flesh Midtone and Highlight, not just a wash. Find them in the same colour family across the Two Thin Coats range, alongside a soft brush for smooth skin blending.
