Every dungeon needs a hazard that punishes greed, and the Black Pudding is one of the best a shapeless mass of acid that dissolves metal and wood on contact and simply splits in two if someone tries to hack it apart. It turns “just smash it” into a genuinely bad plan, and makes a refreshing change from another humanoid ambush.

What’s in the box

• 1 pre-primed Black Pudding miniature, approx. 42mm tall
• Pre-primed with Acrylicos Vallejo primer, little to no assembly required
• Supplied on a 50mm round base

Best for

• A “don’t touch it with steel” hazard encounter
• Practising glossy, wet-look paint effects
• Filling out a dungeon crawl with something other than another humanoid

Layer deep blacks and purples and finish with a gloss varnish, and it genuinely looks ready to eat through the flagstones exactly the reaction you want when it oozes round the corner.
