Xtreme Metal Matte Aluminium is the dull, low-sheen bare metal for the panels that don’t catch the light painted-over alloy, weathered skins and the flatter areas of a natural-metal finish. This lacquer paint airbrushes to a fine, matte metallic finish over a gloss black base.

Best for

• Dull, low-sheen bare-metal panels
• Weathered, oxidised aluminium skins
• Matte contrast against the brighter aluminium shades

Airbrush in thin coats over cured Xtreme Metal Black Base, using it on selected panels to break up the shinier metals. That mix of matte and polished is exactly what makes NMF convincing.

Lacquer-based airbrush in a ventilated space. Part of the full AK Xtreme Metal range.
