Vermillion is a bright, warm orange-red with real fire a vivid, slightly orange-leaning red for bold uniforms, lacquerwork and eye-catching detail. AK’s high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.

Best for

• Warm, fiery orange-red uniforms and cloth
• Oriental lacquer and decorative detail
• Bright highlights over deeper reds

Build it over a light or orange ground for maximum vibrancy, in thin coats. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes glazes and gloss varnish cleanly.
